Kerri Abrams Rampleberg seems to like me!
Corey Abrams sister Kerri Abrams-Rampleberg called me and left a message wanting to discuss my political announcement that ran in the Revere advocate.
She manages to completely leave out that she is the sister of an opposing candidate when she leaves the message. This message was left after Corey called me three times and I did not return any of his calls I am guessing she was calling trying to get a hold of me on behalf of Corey?
Kerri if there is something else you wished to discuss with me please feel free to shoot me an email. My campaign always welcomes a new supporter! If the person calling was not actually Mrs. Rampleberg she has my sincerest apologies but the phone number she called from came back registered to Kerri Abrams. Im not sure if I should be offended or flattered? Listen for yourselves by hitting the play button below.
OH yea! Kerri don't forget to donate to my wife Jessica`s Breast Cancer walk! Click the Fight Cancer ! Tab above.
Michael Carter Ward 1 City Council Canidate
My name is Michael John Carter and I would like to take the time to discuss with the voters of ward one and all the citizens of Revere proposals I would set forth if chosen to represent my neighbors as Ward One City Councilor. These proposals reflect my views that despite the current economic climate, Revere can continue to become a safe city for families without burdening taxpayers. Revere is struggling with maintaining essential community services like Police and Fire as well as teachers. As the City continues to seek revenue for these services the first place they look is at taxpayers. I believe in order to fulfill the obligation to the citizens of Revere, the city council must first look within and cut the over generous spending. I aim to achieve this with the following core proposals:
· 50% Reduction in pay for all city council members.
· Immediate Freeze on council member’s $7,000 expense accounts.
· The sale of abandoned assets which only burden taxpayers. The point of pines fire station and the former police station can provide revenue for the city as well as jobs for citizens if commercially developed.
· The council pursues the Commonwealth and Mass Port for greater sound proofing for the residents of ward one who have had to deal with increased air traffic and decreased support from the Commonwealth.
The savings from these cuts is the equivalent of the base pay of a teacher, police officer or firefighter. Just as all of us have had to adapt to the times so must the city government. I will be an independent voice on the council with no commercial interests in the city. If elected I intend to play a vital role increasing the quality of life for the citizens of ward one and the City of Revere.
